Briohny and Dice of Bryce Yoga have been teaching Yoga together for almost a decade. Their love for the practice shines through in their teachings and their lives. They specialize in guiding students towards a deeper connection with their body through a thorough study of how Yoga Asana effects the muscles and joints.
They love teaching the foundation of alignment in basic postures to help students get stronger mentally and physically, preparing them for advanced asana and an intelligent, lifelong Yoga journey.
Claudine and Honza Lafond are the founders of YogaBeyond®, a brand built on the practice of yoga, trust and community. Their love story began from opposite corners of the world. True to their life philosophy of ‘following your bliss’, overcoming 10,000 miles apart simply meant another exciting adventure on their journey toward finding each other. They finally met in New York in 2007, and currently call Sydney, Australia their home away from home. Their collective experiences and combined career paths in yoga, wellness and art have brought them together in a powerful way… et voila, YogaBeyond was born.
This Yoga Alliance certified training is designed for yoga teachers who thirst to immerse themselves in the practice and teaching of Yoga. Through foundational and advanced asana practice and a variety of expert presenters and modules, your knowledge will expand.
We recommend that trainees be 200hr certified and have at least 6 months of consistent teaching experience. This can include anything from public classes, privates, corporate classes, online videos, or charity classes. The instruction will take deeper root if you’ve had some teaching experience under your belt.
This 300 hour teacher training is an immersive experience that fosters the space for personal and professional transformation. Training days will be filled with Yoga practice (including Inversions & arm balances), Teaching Asana clinics, Business lectures, Philosophy lectures, applicable anatomy practical lectures, practice teaching, Kirtan, Pranyama, and Meditation practices. Students will have 1 day off every 5 days to ensure they have time to relax and rest their bodies. Although we work hard, we encourage students to listen to their bodies and rest or observe practices when needed. Students do NOT need to be able to do inversions or arm balances to take this training. However, they will leave with a deeper understanding of how to incorporate these advanced postures in their own practice and teachings.
DAYS OFF: We have 1 day off every 5 days.
Led by Briohny, Dice, Claudine, & Honza
The daily practices are dedicated to challenging students and strengthening our foundation. Students will practice heightening the mind/body connection, deepening the breath, and finding balance between strength and flexibility. We will sweat profusely and cultivate a spirit of lighthearted play and fun through creative Vinyasa flow sequencing, arm balances, and inversions. Most daily practices will begin or end with light pranayama and meditation.

Inversions and arm balances are a growing trend in yoga classes around the globe. We love them because they challenge us physically and mentally, but many teachers do not feel confident teaching these advanced poses unless they understand them in their personal practice. In this training, we will work daily on giving trainees the tools they need to understand the journey towards these advanced postures. These tools include interactive strength and flexibility exercises, partner inversion work, and independent wall and prop use. We will also help trainees cultivate their confidence in guiding their students into these postures with effective class sequencing, safe spotting, adjustments, and efficient verbal cues.

ACROVINYASA takes Yoga from earth to sky. Uniting elements from Acro Yoga, Vinyasa, and inversion training, this practice cultivates trust and community in a powerful way. The core of ACROVINYASA centers on synchronizing breath with movement, building strength, and finding balance. Inspired by traditional Yoga asanas and L-based acrobatic flying, this progressive yoga system includes both solo and partner practices. The aerial part revolves around one partner (the base) supporting the other partner (the flyer) as she flies through the air in a sequenced series of yoga postures. A refreshingly playful approach to an ancient tradition, ACROVINYASA feels more like a dance with gravity than a physical exercise. In this module, you will experience the ACROVINYASA method and learn how to incorporate it into your own teachings.

Creative Vinyasa sequencing is one of our favorite ways to express ourselves. Through our daily sequencing lectures, we will breakdown each morning practice so trainees receive insight into our sequencing thought process. We will also cover a variety of sequencing techniques for workshops, privates, and explore this topic from an asana, body part, and emotional peak.

The Yoga world is filled with alignment cues and alignment belief systems that sometimes contradict one another. How many times have you had a teacher tell you one thing, only to have another teacher tell you the opposite? Through our daily asana alignment study, we will focus on individual postures and highlight the common misalignments, study the effects of the pose on the body, talk about alignment cue trends, and give students the opportunity to practice teach the FitFlowFly alignment cues, teaching aids, and adjustments.

Over the past 10 years, Yoga as a business industry has grown exponentially. What was once a small-scale industry with a very limited, particular outreach has transformed into a booming business with abundant opportunities for entrepreneurs, teachers, clothing & accessory designers, management consultants, online personalities, healers, therapists, world travelers and more. You will receive the chance to hear from each faculty member on the business of Yoga throughout the training. The topics we will cover include:

Teaching workshops is one of the best ways to expand your offerings as a yoga teacher. Workshops strengthen the necessary experience required to travel outside of your community and share your yoga teachings. They also provide a great stepping stone toward learning how to teach Yoga Teacher Trainings. In this module, Dice and Bri will share the knowledge and experience they’ve collected over the last six years teaching workshops and trainings internationally. You will learn how to sequence workshops, key spots and assists, important structuring techniques, and all of the marketing and PR secrets for social media platforms.

Many of us modern yogis look to yoga for its physical benefits, but yoga tradition spans far beyond just the physical. In this module, Mathieu will cover key aspects of Yoga history, philosophy, and traditions such as pranayama, meditation, kriyas, chakras, and kirtan. Through daily practical use, you will learn accessible ways to integrate these traditions and philosophies into your own practices and how to mindfully introduce these concepts to your students.

Practitioners around the world reap the physical benefits of yoga, assuming poses and frequently calling them by their Sanskrit names. While many know that hanumanasana is named for the deity Hanuman, few understand why this is the case. Behind each asana and its corresponding movements is an ancient story about a god, sage, or sacred animal, much like Aesop’s fables or European folktales. The myths behind yoga’s spiritual tradition have the power to help students of all levels realize their full potential. Meditating on the tolerance of trees while standing in tree pose can help one become more tolerant. Learning how the disfigured sage Astavakra came to be the teacher of a king can liberate us from anxieties about our external appearance and our self imposed limitations. Marveling at Hanuman’s devotion to Ram can serve as a source of spiritual strength and determination. Myths of the Asanas will add a new dimension to your practice and study of yoga. – Taken from the book “Myths of the Asana” by Alanna Kaivalya (book required)

We love a strong and sweaty practice and promise to deliver that daily…even on days off (optional)! But, Yoga is about balance and we want our trainees body’s to be healthy and feel good. So, to balance out those strong practices, Dice & Honza will teach Yin classes infused with the use of Yoga Therapy Balls (balls provided). Not only will our muscles benefit from the therapy, but trainees will also learn how to apply these tools into their teaching.
With Briohny, Dice, Claudine, & Honza
Part of the growth process in a 300-hr training is the ability to have your teachers as mentors. Your lead teachers will meet individually with each trainee to discuss and advise on any personal or professional aspects of your life and yoga journey.
